After school my dad picked me up to take me to this costume store to look at mediveval costumes for the humanities "Crusade" we're reenacting. This costume store was really nice =). It's located in downtown Plano and it's like one of those small old-fashioned like shops that you pass by on the street and don't take much notice of. When I stepped inside little boutique, I was amazed at everything that it carried. The walls were littered with costume props and they had three racks of costumes. It was like discovering a hidden secret in the middle of downtown Plano. After I reserved the costume that I'm going to use for the medieval crusade, my dad took me to this small coffee shoppe a few stores down for hot chocolate [mmm ^_^]. This quaint little café was called "Expresso Yourself" [haha] and it was wonderful =D. The hot chocolate they made was so rich and it bursted with flavor. It was like sipping melted chocolate. I can't explain. The hot chocolate was just perfect. Not too hot or cold. It's sweet delightful taste warmed me up and made me forget how cold it was outside =). The girl behind the counter topped the hot chocolate off with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles, which made it even creamier. I was in BLISS. Hot chocolate can do that to me *wink* ^_^. I would love to treat any of you there sometime when I can drive if you wanted me to ;). I'm just surprised that downtown Plano hides so many great little shops. I'm happy I got to discover them tonight.
