I just got home from a field trip that my Humanities class took to Medieval Times. I had so much fun and I enjoyed myself while I was there =). It was probably the best time I’ve ever had going to Medieval Times. When we arrived at Medieval Times people were running around trying to trade table cards so that they would be able to sit with their friends. I didn’t bother changing seats because my table was up front [right where all the action is] ;). The knight that we cheered for was the oh-so-wonderful and [lack of] talented Red Knight. He was such a loser, haha, I’m serious. He barely won any of the competitions, he didn’t know how to use a lance, and he died twice. In that one rare instance when our knight did win in one of the contests, he was given a few carnations to throw to the girls in the audience. Well, I happened to be one of those lucky girls that received a carnation from the knight O=). When I came to Medieval Times, I was DETERMINED to get a flower. When the knight came around with the flowers, I stood up and cheered for him and waved to get his attention ;). Apparently it worked, haha.

When the entire tournament was over, each knight was given a ribbon to award to any girl in the audience as the “Queen of Love and Beauty”. I watched our knight on his horseback as he trotted over to the side where I was sitting. I waved at him, and he started coming closer to approach me. Before I knew it, he lowered his lance and offered me the ribbon. I couldn’t believe he chose me =O!

After the show was over, the knights came out to take pictures and sign autographs. Since the knight gave me the carnations and the ribbon, my friend Brittany said she wanted to take a picture of me with the knight. As I stood by the knight and posed for the camera, the knight put his arm around my waist and squeezed the side of my waist. Haha, not only that, but he also pulled me closer to him [practically against him ~_~”]. I think the knight had something for me, but I don’t know. Guys are so confusing =P. I was talking to Iris later tonight, and she was telling me how the knight was all over me, haha ^_^”. I really wouldn’t have minded so much if the knight was better looking. Oh well, you can’t have everything, haha ;).

After I got the Red Knight’s autograph, I tried to get as far away from him as possible =P. I noticed that everyone was near the dance floor, so I watched people trying to dance. Honestly, people should be restrained from the dance floor if they consider shifting weight and bopping their head “dancing”. Then again, who would I point and laugh at if people like that didn’t exist? Haha O=). When the DJ finished up the last song, all the students filed out and headed toward the buses. After a thirty-minute ride, we arrived back at school and I went home. And so concludes the awesome field trip I went on. The end =)
