Yesterday I spent time melting chocolate and dipping strawberries and raspberries for Valentine's Day =). Eventhough I sacrificed homework time for it, I still felt good making them because I knew that my friends would enjoy eating them as much as I enjoyed making them ^_^.
I got to school early today and went to the band room to pass out strawberries then went to the orchestra room to hand out some more. Frankie really enjoyed hers, lol =D. For Valentine's Day Brittany gave me a bag filled with all this candy ^_^, w00t! Haha, and Stephen got me a box of chocolates. Mmm, I'm going to get fat off of all this chocolate =). Tina and Chelsi gave me a little baggie of Nerds and Reese's. So good =). Robert gave me a rose. Awww, so nice [he actually reads my profile, lol].
I really did like all the free stuff, but if I didn't get anything I would still be happy =). I wasn't really expecting anything because I was already content giving away all my chocolate covered strawberries and raspberries. Knowing that my treats lifted someone's spirits makes this Valentine's day worthwhile even though I'm "alone." It makes me realize it doesn't really matter if you have a "special someone" to celebrate with. This day is for a lover to prove how much they "love" and "cherish" you right? But shouldn't they be doing that every day of the year as well if they truly cared about you? Yeah, something to think about. The only people who have done that for me are my friends, so this day goes out to them =D.
After school, Sue and I went to the mall. She stopped by Forever 21 and bought this gorgeous black halter top. Sue is going to look so pretty in it ;o). I had to find a skirt to wear to the dance so I went to Agaci Too and bought something that I hope looks alright on me, haha =P. Sue and I went to Dillard's and tried on these formal gowns. She wouldn't let me see her in some, but I tried on this beautiful white strapless gown. Haha, it was like a bride's dress or something. Oh my gosh, it was so elegant. I felt like a princess wearing it. Makes me wish I had a formal occasion to wear it to, heh..O=)
As the mall was closing, Sue and I went to GoNuts, and I asked the guy how much the cheapest donut was and he said that I could pick any I wanted for free =O! Hahaha, that was cool. He gave us a dozen or so. Sue and I sat on a bench and ate the donuts while we waited for my mom who went to Stonebriar instead of Collin Creek, lol. Lots of fun =).
